About the project
Landcom is planning a new public open space in Edmondson Park Town Centre North, on the site of a former commuter car park near Edmondson Park Station. The proposed park will be a welcoming, inclusive space designed to support recreation, relaxation and community connection. Early concept designs have been reviewed by Landcom’s independent Design Review Panel and are now being refined with input from the community.
The park is expected to include a range of features such as:
- a signature play tower
- water play elements
- inclusive and nature-based playgrounds
- shaded seating and resting areas
- native landscaping and sensory gardens
- cultural design elements that reflect Aboriginal connections to Country.
